I was born and raised in Alaska, and now live in the Anchorage area. My wife and I have three boys, all are enlisted in the military; we also have five dogs, two horses and two shetland ponies. ​

I've been involved in martial arts for over forty years, and have successfully built my own martial arts school (Red Dragon Martial Arts Academy) with about thirty students currently; which is how I came about the concept behind Arctic Blizzard.

It started with the bands we use in training ultimately becoming worn down and needing to be constantly replaced - until Arctic Blizzard!
